On the mission to automate: Meet the values, principles, and people behind Alunta

From the cold north in Denmark, Alunta was created based on a problem we experienced ourselves. A problem we have wanted to solve for a long time. Bo, Emil and myself (Oliver) – I know, weird Danish names. Anyway, we have run several subscription businesses for more than 10 years. We believe that renewals, invoicing and creating subscriptions for your customers can be made easier.




Deep knowledge of subscription and service agreements

In the Alunta team, we have worked with subscription and service agreements across different industries and customer groups for a long time. We have had long spreadsheets with all our customers listed in rows and lots of columns for each customer. In these spreadsheets, we have set up formulas that have calculated important numbers for us as a company. Numbers like; The number of active subscriptions and service agreements, subscriptions and service agreements per customer, the total monthly and annual revenue (MRR + ARR), correct accrual of revenue from subscriptions and service agreements, revenue per customer, the customer’s next renewal date. … and much more The challenge with the large spreadsheets is that human errors occurred, and they are generally difficult to keep updated and accurate. We actually wrote a story about this challenge — check it out! That’s why we built Alunta.

Despite our own history with SaaS businesses, Alunta is not only built for businesses that have revenue from subscriptions or service agreements. In addition to that, Alunta makes sure to show the customers that need to be renewed and you can send your invoices from there.
