Invoice a subscription on the last day of its period

When you create a monthly subscription manually, you can now choose Invoice on the last day of the period under Advanced settings. This lets you bill after delivering the month without moving the subscription’s start date or service period.

Choose the plan, start date and payment method as usual. Under Invoice timing, select the new option. The form shows both the period being billed and the earliest billing date. For example, a subscription starting on 24 September shows 24–30 September as its first period and 30 September as its invoice date. The choice also applies to later periods when the subscription renews automatically.

You can create subscriptions with different invoice timing in the same batch. The invoice preview includes only charges due now and lists subscriptions waiting for the last day separately. If everything is deferred, no empty invoice is shown.

This option is available for automatically renewing subscriptions with a fixed monthly price. Payment can use an invoice/bank transfer, a ready Leverandørservice mandate, or an existing valid saved card for the selected payment provider. For card payments, Alunta attempts the charge no earlier than the period’s last day and creates the invoice only after payment is confirmed. The option is unavailable when the plan or payment method does not meet these requirements.

Existing subscriptions keep their current timing. You can select the new timing only when creating a subscription manually. It does not apply to bundles, trials, instalments, usage prices, or subscriptions created through checkout or the API.
