Meet the developers behind Alunta
Bo Møller and Emil Højbjerg are the primary developers behind Alunta. We use AI and specialised agents to research, build and test changes – but the final decisions and responsibility remain ours.
Every changelog is sent automatically from Alunta to this page, so anyone can follow how the product develops – even without logging in or having an Alunta account.
You can now create discount codes and share them with new customers. The customer enters the code when they sign up for a subscription on your self-service page, and the discount applies to the first subscription period - after that they pay the normal price.
When you click MRR or ARR on the overview, the composition now opens on a list of customers: one line per subscription with the customer name, the plan and what it contributes, largest first.
Under Settings > Customer emails you can now upload files that are automatically included with the invoice emails you send to your customers. Terms and conditions, a guide or a warranty certificate, for example. You can have up to 5 active files in PDF, PNG and JPG, and 3 MB in total.
All five figures in MRR over time are now clickable. Current MRR shows the composition by plan and price point, using the same detail view as the MRR widget.
The Invoicing widget shows this month, next month and last month side by side. The months follow the calendar automatically. Last month shows invoiced amounts, while this and next month also include expected automatic invoicing.
Company owners and administrators can now find Users and activity under Settings. The page opens on the user list, showing who has access, their roles and who has enabled two-factor authentication. The owner can continue to invite and manage users here.
A tiered subscription can now be moved directly to another tier from its actions menu. Alunta only offers tiers that satisfy the subscription's latest reported usage and also verifies that the selected tier has a price for the subscription's currency and renewal interval.
When a customer payment for an invoice is posted in e-conomic, Alunta can now import the payment and mark the invoice as paid automatically. This keeps invoice statuses, outstanding balances and payment overviews up to date without recording the same payment manually in Alunta.
Alunta AI Access can now answer directly how many invoices are overdue, how many unique customers they affect, and the total outstanding balance in each currency.
The subscription page now shows your current Alunta package, its limits, and a complete price overview for the base subscription and every enabled app. Each line uses the price and billing period that actually apply to your agreement, including free modules, trials, discounts, and special prices.
Choose a fixed start date when creating a payment link, or leave it blank to keep the existing checkout flow. The date can be up to ten years in the past or twenty years in the future. For a historical date, periods are calculated from the chosen date: card checkout settles the first payable period, and the remaining periods follow normal collection. Invoice purchases follow normal back-billing rules. For a future date, checkout stores the card without charging it. Subscription charging and invoicing start no earlier than the start date or the end of a trial. Usage remains billed in arrears based on actual consumption.
When a customer buys a tiered subscription through checkout, Alunta now saves the usage and pricing tier used to calculate the checkout price. Future invoices therefore continue on the correct tier instead of falling back to the plan's lowest price after the card payment.
If your team exceeds an Alunta Free limit, an owner or administrator can now delete surplus customers directly from the dashboard notice. The list shows each customer's active subscriptions and fixed monthly recurring revenue, so you can start with the customers that affect the limit most.
AI Access (MCP) could already answer questions about your own numbers. Now the MCP server can also look things up in Alunta's product guides, the public API documentation and the release notes.
Radar now groups matters that may need follow-up so each customer is counted once. The overview shows the most important current matter and the estimated annual subscription value for flagged customers. The figure does not include every monitored customer and uses subscriptions registered at the latest Radar check.
Radar is a new app in Alunta that checks your active business customers in the Danish CVR register every day and tells you when something important changes. You do not have to watch it yourself - you only hear from Radar when there is something to act on.
You can now enable AI Access (MCP) under Apps and connect Alunta to a compatible AI client. The connection is approved with your regular Alunta login and locked to the team you select during setup.
When a subscription payment through QuickPay fails, your customer can now fix it themselves in the customer portal. The affected subscription shows an "Update card" button where the customer can pick another saved card or add a new one. The payment is then retried automatically within 1-2 days - no money is taken during the card change itself.
The customer API now exposes current and pending MRR including time-limited discounts. The new effectivemrrbycurrency and effectivependingmrrbycurrency fields correspond to the "MRR incl. discounts" and "Pending MRR incl. discounts" columns in the CSV export.
You can now click the MRR, ARR, or Active subscriptions number on the dashboard. The same view shows both the development over time and the subscriptions and subscription bundles behind today's number. Clickable numbers now use the same treatment across the dashboard, and Pending MRR can be opened both as a total and per category.
When you move a subscription to another plan, you can now pick which renewal the change applies from - not just the next one. The "Effective from" field lists the subscription's upcoming renewal dates, and the price, interval, and calculated tier are recalculated for the date you choose.
Subscriptions on a tiered plan can now change renewal interval - for example from monthly to yearly - straight from the menu on the customer. The price is read from the tier the subscription is on, both in the preview and when the change takes effect.
If Alunta generates your invoice PDF, you can now choose to use the number from e-conomic, Dinero or Billy as the primary document number and payment reference on new invoices and credit notes. Alunta's own number is still shown as an additional reference, so the document remains easy to find in Alunta.
You can now move an existing subscription to another plan at its next renewal. The subscription keeps its history, and reporting records the move as a plan change instead of churn and new business.
You can now enter both your bank's daily Leverandørservice limit and its maximum for a single collection. Alunta checks the limits again immediately before sending and stops a collection locally when it cannot be sent safely.
When a Leverandørservice collection is rejected or charged back, Alunta now gathers it as a recovery case so you can see which invoices need action and why. From the overview you can schedule a new collection on a later date, mark the invoice as paid manually or by bank transfer, or dismiss the case.
You can now click the numbers in MRR movements and Pending MRR on the dashboard to see which subscriptions, customers, dates, and amounts are included in the calculation.
You've always been able to see company data from CVR under "Insights" on your business customers. Now you can act on it too. When CVR has newer information than what you have on file in Alunta, you get a "CVR data changed" badge on the customer - plus a filter in the customer overview so they're all in one place.
For invoices that are collected live through Leverandørservice, Alunta now hides manual payment instructions and returns payurl: null in API and webhook invoice payloads.
When an end customer signs up for a subscription with a trial, usage-based billing or a free intro period, Alunta now sends an order confirmation with what the customer selected and when the first invoice is expected.
You can now send your invoices directly to public authorities and businesses via EAN/NemHandel, instead of as a PDF by email. When a customer has EAN as their delivery method, Alunta automatically sends the invoice to that customer's EAN number as soon as the invoice is created, and you can follow the delivery status right on each invoice.
If one customer pays on behalf of other customers, you can now collect those subscriptions on one invoice. This is useful for resellers, partner agreements, headquarters or other customers that manage payment for several underlying customers.
You can now create your own fields on customers - just like you already can on subscription types. It's an easy way to store exactly the information that matters to you, right on the individual customer.
You can now protect your Alunta account with two-factor authentication (2FA). When it's on, we ask for a one-time code from your authenticator app every time you log in - so a leaked password is no longer enough to get into your account.
You can now create fees that are automatically added to invoices based on how your customer pays - for example a fixed fee for manual payment that disappears automatically when the customer signs up for Leverandørservice.
If you issue invoices that need to meet full-invoice requirements - typically those above the simplified-invoice threshold - you need the recipient's address and VAT/CVR. Until now those fields were optional at self-service, which meant a customer could complete checkout without providing them. You can now require them.
When a subscription renews and the payment is charged automatically from the card, we now also register the payment itself directly in your accounting system - so the invoice shows as paid, not as "unpaid" or "upcoming".
Until now, "Revert period" on a subscription was the only way to create a credit note. It didn't cover one-off invoices, and if a subscription invoice also carried one-off charges (like a bundle setup fee), those charges quietly stayed uncredited when the period was reverted. There's now a single flow that works for every invoice.
We've tightened up the Dinero setup page and how we surface errors from Dinero. At the same time, we now respect the sales account on each of your individual products, so you can have different income accounts per product.
You can now pick from six new widgets on your dashboard. They cover both your subscription data and data from the integrations you've set up, giving you a broader view straight from the front page.
You can now connect your Alunta account with PensoPay as a payment gateway. PensoPay is now available as an alternative to OnPay, QuickPay and Stripe, letting you pick the gateway that best fits your business.
Your customers can now sign up for a tiered subscription directly from self-service checkout - just like flat-rate, license-based and usage-based plans.
We have tightened up how MRR and Pending MRR are calculated, so the numbers match what is actually happening in your business - and align with how ChartMogul, Stripe and other established analytics tools compute it.
If you track usage on your customers, the customer list now shows the actual numbers as badges next to each customer - instead of a generic "Data reported" mark.
You can now see at a glance which of your customers are actively reporting data into Alunta - and get a timeline overview of everything that's happening on an individual customer.
You can now see financial reports, industry, employee count and company status for your customers directly in Alunta - without having to look them up on cvr.dk or Virk.
Alunta now has an open marketplace for third-party integrations. Partners can build and publish integrations that connect Alunta to other tools, and you activate the ones you need with a click.
You can now add extra email recipients to a customer, so others like an accountant or a second contact person automatically receive the same emails as the customer.
You can now choose exactly which emails Alunta sends to your customers. The new page brings all customer-facing emails together in one place, so you can toggle them on and off as needed.
Create subscription types where the price automatically adjusts based on how the customer uses your product. You can now define tiers with ranges across up to 3 parameters (e.g. number of users, number of URLs, MRR) and let the system place the customer on the correct tier automatically.
We have launched a brand new news system so you can always stay up to date with what is happening in Alunta. Going forward, you will see a popup like this whenever we have something exciting to share.
You can now import existing customers and subscriptions directly from Stripe. See an overview of all importable customers with subscription details, MRR, and next renewal date, and import them with a single click.
QuickPay is now available as a payment gateway in Alunta. If you already use QuickPay, you can connect it with a single click and start accepting payments immediately.
Payments are now automatically synced to e-conomic and Dinero. You can set up contra accounts per payment method, ensuring everything is booked correctly from the start.
Two new API endpoints let you cancel and resume subscriptions programmatically. Perfect for building a self-service portal or automating your subscription management.
Alunta invoice numbers and payment references are now automatically added to your invoice lines in e-conomic and Dinero. This makes it easier to link invoices and payments across systems.
If you work with customers across multiple currencies, you now get a much better overview. Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) is now displayed split by currency, so you can see exactly where your revenue comes from.
The checkout confirmation page has been redesigned with live status polling, so your customers see payment status in real-time. No more uncertainty about whether the payment went through.
Team invitations are now sent with your company logo and name, so your colleagues immediately recognize the sender. When an invitation is accepted, the recipient automatically switches to the correct team.
