Split installments by month and percentage

Installments can now use custom percentages at chosen calendar-month offsets. The existing equal-installment option still works as before. First enable Installments under Apps & integrations, then select Pay in installments and Set amounts by month and percentage when creating an eligible subscription or bundle.

Month 0 is the start of the subscription period. For example, you can invoice 50% at the start and 50% three calendar months later. Percentages must total 100%, and the same split repeats at each renewal. Offsets are counted from the period start, so three calendar months are not necessarily exactly 90 days.

The preview shows dates and amounts for the first period and the next renewal. Dates show planned billing, not when payment is due. If a bundle has a one-off amount, it can be split across the first period’s installments; it is not charged again on renewal.

The advanced split is optional and available for eligible, automatically renewing flat-rate subscriptions paid by invoice. It does not apply to card payments or trials. You can change the split on an existing subscription; periods where billing has already started stay unchanged. Integrations can also set and read the advanced schedule through the v1 API.
