Create plans, prices, and renewal intervals
A plan is a catalogue of what a subscription can cost and how it can renew. It is not the same as a concrete subscription: a plan can change and offer several prices, while an existing subscription has its own agreed periods.

A plan is a catalogue of what a subscription can cost and how it can renew. It is not the same as a concrete subscription: a plan can change and offer several prices, while an existing subscription has its own agreed periods.
Create the plan
Open Plans, create a plan with a name and pricing model, and choose the intervals and currencies that may be sold. A regular price belongs to one interval and one currency. Enter the amount in the currency the customer should see, and confirm that at least one payment method supports that combination.
A plan can be internal or visible in checkout. Visibility does not make an incomplete plan purchasable: it still needs a valid price, interval, and the payment setup required by the flow. Hiding the plan stops new purchases but does not change existing subscriptions.
Example: a plan with two prices
A plan can have DKK 300 per month and DKK 3,000 per year. Both rows belong to the catalogue; when a subscription is created, checkout chooses one row. If the monthly EUR row is missing, a customer cannot choose EUR for that interval even if the team has generally enabled EUR. Always check the exact pricing-model, currency, and interval combination.
Plan prices and agreements
An unused interval/currency price could later be edited without changing existing agreements. Once a price is used by a subscription or an active sale, create an alternative price or change the concrete subscription through its change flow. Tiered and usage prices have their own setup and should not be treated as regular interval prices.
The plan icon and description are presentation. They do not determine price. After changing the catalogue, check both new checkout purchases and the upcoming periods of existing subscriptions.
Common questions
Why is the plan missing? It may be hidden, lack a price for the selected currency/interval, or lack an active payment provider.
Does a new catalogue price change old subscriptions? No. An existing subscription keeps its agreed terms until you change it.
Can I delete a price? Only when it is unused. Create a new price when the current one is attached to an agreement.
Is a tier price a regular renewal price? No. Tiered and usage models use their own price resolution rules.
What happens to active subscriptions if I hide a plan? They continue with their agreed periods; the setting affects new checkout purchases.
Why cannot I edit a price? It may be in use. Check usage and create an alternative row instead of changing an existing agreement.
