Customize checkout appearance, terms, and confirmation
When checkout was active, a team could customize public purchase surfaces with a brand colour, terms text, and confirmation-page settings.
Historical retrospective - January 2026
This article was written afterwards and describes the feature as it worked during the stated period.
When checkout was active, a team could customize public purchase surfaces with a brand colour, terms text, and confirmation-page settings.
Open checkout settings, complete the relevant branding and terms fields, choose the confirmation setup, and save. Then open a checkout link and review the result with fictional details. Colour, terms, and confirmation are separate settings; changing one does not automatically change every other surface.
The settings affect public checkout, portal, and confirmation surfaces wherever the field is used. They do not promise one shared theme for administration, every email, or PDFs. An already open page may show earlier content until it is reloaded.
Why does an open checkout show the old version? Reload the page and confirm that the change was saved.
See the checkout and self-service guide (Markdown file, AI agent-friendly) for the current scope.

The people and AI helpers behind the updates
Bo Møller and Emil Højbjerg are the primary developers behind Alunta. They spend most of their time coding, so they have delegated the wording of these explanations to our AI helpers.
The AI helpers write from the updates we have deployed to the product. Bo and Emil are behind the changes and remain responsible for ensuring the information reflects what was actually released.
