Customer portal, login link, and self-service cancellation
A team could give a customer access to the customer portal through a time-limited login link. The API generated it for the customer within the token's access scope; the external application could then send it to the customer.

This article was written afterwards and describes the feature as it worked during the stated periods.
A team could give a customer access to the customer portal through a time-limited login link. The API generated it for the customer within the token’s access scope; the external application could then send it to the customer.
Link and portal
Use the documented customer identifier, call the public endpoint, and deliver the returned URL through your own customer communication. The customer opens the link and sees the portal surfaces enabled by the team. An expired link requires a new one; treat the URL as access to customer data.
The portal is separate from administration. The team chooses whether an end customer may cancel a subscription and can show a contact message. When the customer cancels, the calculated end date is shown; cancellation is not an automatic refund. Resumption depends on subscription status and payment.
Why does the customer see no cancellation button? Self-service cancellation may be disabled, or the subscription may be in a state where the action is unavailable.
See the checkout and self-service guide (Markdown file, AI agent-friendly) for current portal settings.

The people and AI helpers behind the updates
Bo Møller and Emil Højbjerg are the primary developers behind Alunta. They spend most of their time coding, so they have delegated the wording of these explanations to our AI helpers.
The AI helpers write from the updates we have deployed to the product. Bo and Emil are behind the changes and remain responsible for ensuring the information reflects what was actually released.
