Report and correct usage, and see what is billed

On the customer's usage tab, you could record a quantity, measurement, or snapshot with a date and unit. A counter describes an ongoing measurement; a snapshot describes the value at the time of reporting. Both are data a usage plan can use, but neither is fixed subscription revenue.

On the customer’s usage tab, you could record a quantity, measurement, or snapshot with a date and unit. A counter describes an ongoing measurement; a snapshot describes the value at the time of reporting. Both are data a usage plan can use, but neither is fixed subscription revenue.

Check the entry

Open the customer, choose usage, and record a fictional value with the correct parameter and date. Find the entry in the list and see which subscription period it belongs to and whether it has been used on an invoice. A visible value may still be waiting for the period’s invoicing.

An entry that has not been invoiced can, under the current rules, be deleted and reported again. This is not free editing of a historical bill: usage already invoiced must follow the relevant invoice or credit process. Check invoice status before correcting anything.

Why is the usage not on the invoice? The period may not be locked yet, or the entry may lack acceptance or a matching pricing rule.
