Clearer Payment reminders: see who gets a reminder before it is sent

Payment reminders now has a status bar at the top of the page, visible on every tab. It immediately shows whether Payment reminders is on, when the next run is, and what it will do - and from there you can skip the next run or turn the whole thing off without switching to a specific tab first.

The list is now a preview. “Refresh list” no longer sends anything - it only shows you what is going to happen. Reminders are only sent by the scheduled run, and the list is split so you can see it at a glance: reminders sent automatically, reminders awaiting your approval, and reminders that can’t be sent.

A clearer message when a reminder can’t be sent. When an invoice’s amount, customer or date can’t be confirmed against your accounting system, we now show the local outstanding amount (clearly marked as unconfirmed) and tell you exactly what to do to fix it.

More invoices can now be reminded. If you send your accounting system’s invoice to customers, a due date that differed from Alunta’s by one day could block the reminder. The reminder now uses the due date the customer saw on the invoice.

Your own reminder text is one click away. If your text sits in the old shared template, the warning takes you straight to the step in use, where “Bring the text here” copies it in. When you save, you return to Payment reminders.

Payment reminders still add no fees or interest, and do not send cases to debt collection.
