Choose when a plan change takes effect

When you move a subscription to another plan, you can now pick which renewal the change applies from - not just the next one. The “Effective from” field lists the subscription’s upcoming renewal dates, and the price, interval, and calculated tier are recalculated for the date you choose.

Periods before the chosen date are still billed on the current plan, and scheduled changes that fall before the switch are kept.

If you use the API, you can pass effective_date to PUT /subscriptions/{uuid}/plan. The valid dates are exposed on the subscription as available_plan_change_dates.
