Graduated pricing for usage
You can now choose Graduated pricing for a price on a usage plan. Split usage into bands with a different unit price for each one. Alunta calculates the total by adding the price of each band used. The first band can cost DKK 0, making a number of units free.

You can now choose Graduated pricing for a price on a usage plan. Split usage into bands with a different unit price for each one. Alunta calculates the total by adding the price of each band used. The first band can cost DKK 0, making a number of units free.
For example, the first 100 units cost DKK 2 each, units 101–500 cost DKK 1, and the rest cost DKK 0.50. At 600 units, the total is 200 + 400 + 50 = DKK 650 excluding VAT. The invoice shows a line for each band that was used and has a price above zero.
Getting started: Open a usage plan, create a new price or edit one that is still changeable, and turn on Graduated pricing. The schedule is saved with the subscription and in each period’s history, so later plan changes do not change existing agreements or their historical periods. The API returns the schedule with the plan price and subscription usage. MCP can now also read graduated prices from the plan catalogue and usage configuration.
Graduated pricing cannot be combined with a separate included quantity or minimum billable quantity. It can be used with a flat plan in a bundle, but not in custom offers or when initially importing a Stripe Billing subscription.

The people and AI helpers behind the updates
Bo Møller and Emil Højbjerg are the primary developers behind Alunta. They spend most of their time coding, so they have delegated the wording of these explanations to our AI helpers.
The AI helpers write from the updates we have deployed to the product. Bo and Emil are behind the changes and remain responsible for ensuring the information reflects what was actually released.
