Let your AI read your general ledger in e-conomic

If you use e-conomic, your AI assistant can now read your general ledger: chart of accounts, balances, entries and vouchers. A question like "why doesn't our Nets account match?" can then be answered with numbers instead of guesses. The AI can also reconcile your card clearing account against what the card provider actually captured and refunded, explain the balance and point to the first day the books and the card provider diverged. If you give it a payout statement from your acquirer, it can compare it with the payouts that have been booked.

Let your AI read your general ledger in e-conomic

If you use e-conomic, your AI assistant can now read your general ledger: chart of accounts, balances, entries and vouchers. A question like “why doesn’t our Nets account match?” can then be answered with numbers instead of guesses. The AI can also reconcile your card clearing account against what the card provider actually captured and refunded, explain the balance and point to the first day the books and the card provider diverged. If you give it a payout statement from your acquirer, it can compare it with the payouts that have been booked.

Switch on General ledger and entries under Settings → AI access → “What AI can see”. It is off by default and requires Payment and bookkeeping details to be on. It works only if your team is connected to e-conomic, and only for owners, administrators and people with finance access, never for ordinary members.

The AI reads directly from e-conomic when you ask, and can see every account in your e-conomic agreement, including accounts Alunta does not book to, such as salaries. That is the whole agreement’s ledger, which can include other teams of your company that book into the same agreement. Nothing is written to e-conomic and no business data is changed in Alunta (the calls are logged). If e-conomic is busy or a question is too large, the AI says so and asks for a narrower period instead of guessing.

The people and AI helpers behind the updates

Bo Møller and Emil Højbjerg are the primary developers behind Alunta. They spend most of their time coding, so they have delegated the wording of these explanations to our AI helpers.

The AI helpers write from the updates we have deployed to the product. Bo and Emil are behind the changes and remain responsible for ensuring the information reflects what was actually released.
