Payment emails during the day and a clearer payment deadline
Automatic emails under Payment could not be completed are now sent from 08:00 until before 20:00 in your business’s timezone. This also applies to reversed-payment and expiring-card notices. A message ready in the evening or at night waits until the next morning, provided it is still relevant. Send message still sends right away when you choose it yourself.

When the subscription policy sets a payment deadline, the customer now sees the last day they can complete payment, both in the email and in the customer portal. A separate deadline warning is scheduled for 09:00 two calendar days before that day. If the warning falls less than 24 hours after the first message, the first message includes the deadline without an extra email. Ordinary follow-ups stop before the warning day, so the customer does not receive them alongside the warning or with an expired deadline.
Choosing or changing Retry, then end the subscription now requires at least three retry days. Existing billing periods keep their saved policy. Email timing does not change the payment deadline or the rules for when a subscription ends.

The people and AI helpers behind the updates
Bo Møller and Emil Højbjerg are the primary developers behind Alunta. They spend most of their time coding, so they have delegated the wording of these explanations to our AI helpers.
The AI helpers write from the updates we have deployed to the product. Bo and Emil are behind the changes and remain responsible for ensuring the information reflects what was actually released.
