Fees: automatically add fees based on payment method

You can now create fees that are automatically added to invoices based on how your customer pays - for example a fixed fee for manual payment that disappears automatically when the customer signs up for Leverandørservice.

How it works

Find it under Settings > Fees. Here you can create as many fees as you want, each with a name (shown on the invoice), an amount, a currency and a rule for when it applies:

• All payment methods - the fee is added to all invoices in the chosen currency.
• Manual payment - only when the customer is not on Leverandørservice.
• Leverandørservice - only when the customer has an active LS mandate.

Each time an invoice is generated, we look at the customer’s payment method and add the matching fees as lines on the invoice - automatically, with no need to remember to remove them when the customer changes payment method.

Correct bookkeeping in your accounting system

If you have an active integration with Economic, Dinero or Billy, each fee must be linked to a product in your accounting system. This ensures the fee is booked to the right product from day one, and that credit notes match up correctly.

Where it works

Fees are automatically added on:

• Subscription invoices at renewal
• Proration invoices (when upgrading/downgrading mid-period)
• One-off invoices you create manually
• One-off invoices via the API
• Bundle setup invoices
• Preview of upcoming invoices (so the total matches what the customer ends up paying)

Credit notes and refunds automatically include the fee lines.
