Price changes

Your business is evolving. Your price can evolve too.

More services, a broader agreement or a price that needs updating. Make the change on the customer’s subscription in Alunta, so future billing follows the agreed terms. No sticky note to remember when the next invoice is due.

Keep the new price with the agreement.

When the customer agrees to a change, update the price on their subscription. The customer, billing periods and agreed terms stay together, making the next invoice easier to get right.

Less follow-up work

Let upcoming billing use the terms you agreed.

From agreement to action

From a good conversation to the right next invoice.

The customer gets more support, and the monthly price changes from DKK 800 to DKK 950. Here is how you can handle the rest.

  1. Find the customer you already know.

Open the agreement in Alunta and start with the price and period the customer has today. The context is clear while the conversation is still fresh.

  2. Update the subscription price.

Adjust the agreement and follow the effect on the relevant upcoming periods. You have a better place to keep track of what you agreed than a reminder in your inbox.

  3. Let billing follow the conversation.

Upcoming billing is based on the subscription. Your team can find the agreement again, and the customer gets an invoice that reflects what you discussed.

Useful questions

Before you choose your workflow.

Does a new catalogue price change all existing agreements?

No. A plan is your catalogue, while a subscription is the specific agreement with a customer. Use the change flow to adjust the agreement when an existing customer needs new terms.

Can I change something that has already been invoiced?

Sent invoices and already paid periods are not rewritten just because the price changes. Alunta helps keep the change separate from the history. Write to us if you would like to review a specific case together.
