Use your own logo on customer emails and invoices
In invoicing settings, choose how your team appears on Alunta invoices and customer emails. Upload a fictitious logo for testing, choose the available header style, open the preview, and save when the company logo and heading look right.
Historical retrospective - August 2026
This article was written afterwards and describes the branding settings expanded during the period.
In invoicing settings, choose how your team appears on Alunta invoices and customer emails. Upload a fictitious logo for testing, choose the available header style, open the preview, and save when the company logo and heading look right.
The setting applies to Alunta’s own documents and emails where team branding is shown. It does not change the layout of a PDF downloaded from e-conomic, Dinero, or Billy; that document is produced by the accounting system. When a customer receives an invoice email from Alunta, the header and sender settings follow the team’s customer identity.
Check a preview after changing the settings and before a new send. A queued customer email can read the team’s text and branding when it is rendered and sent, so a change may take effect before delivery. Already-sent output and an already-generated Alunta document do not change. Fixed attachments follow their own locked email version; see the fixed-attachments article for that rule.
See the customer communications guide (Markdown file, AI agent-friendly) for the boundary between Alunta documents and accounting PDFs.
Where do I change the logo? Use invoicing settings and check the preview.
Why does a customer see the old logo? An existing email or PDF may have been created before the change. Check a new preview or create a new send.
Do customer emails use the same identity? Alunta customer emails follow the team’s sender and branding, while their text and recipient choices are configured separately.
Check the result
Make the change in one deliberate workflow: open settings, choose the logo and header, view the preview, and save. Then open a new invoice and customer-email preview when both are relevant to the team. Check that the logo does not make the heading or invoice lines difficult to read and that the brand still carries the team’s name.
A branding change affects presentation, not invoice amounts, payment status, or the accounting system’s own documents. If you need to retain an already-sent document, keep the version the recipient actually received; a later change does not rewrite the old document.

The people and AI helpers behind the updates
Bo Møller and Emil Højbjerg are the primary developers behind Alunta. They spend most of their time coding, so they have delegated the wording of these explanations to our AI helpers.
The AI helpers write from the updates we have deployed to the product. Bo and Emil are behind the changes and remain responsible for ensuring the information reflects what was actually released.
