Your end customers can now choose Danish, English, German, Italian, French, Swedish, Norwegian and Spanish. Their language is used in the customer portal, checkout, customer emails, and new invoices and credit notes generated by Alunta.
You can set the language on a customer’s profile. Customers can also save their own preference in the customer portal. Automatic follows their country; an explicit language choice applies regardless of country. Choosing a language does not change currency, VAT or payment method.
For customers using automatic language, future emails and new documents can now follow their country’s language, such as German for Germany. Historical invoices retain their document language, and attached credit notes follow the original invoice. Prepared payment reminders are checked again if the customer’s language changes.
Under Customer emails, you can edit templates and preview all eight languages. Each language has its own template. Customer emails continue to carry your business name and contact details.
Your product names, notes, invoice text and other custom text are not automatically translated. The admin interface remains in Danish or English.
External invoice PDFs and payment windows follow their provider’s capabilities. Dinero invoices support Danish and English; other languages use English in Dinero. PensoPay uses Danish or English, and Cost+ uses English for Italian or Spanish. PDFs from other accounting systems follow their existing configuration.

The people and AI helpers behind the updates
Bo Møller and Emil Højbjerg are the primary developers behind Alunta. They spend most of their time coding, so they have delegated the wording of these explanations to our AI helpers.
The AI helpers write from the updates we have deployed to the product. Bo and Emil are behind the changes and remain responsible for ensuring the information reflects what was actually released.
